08:00 or 13:00, depart for the hours drive to Bat Trang ceramic village which is located to the east of Hanoi along the Red River; here you can wander freely into any of the workshops or galleries inside the village. Bat Trang was an important centre for ceramic production in Vietnam and the region as far back as the 15th century. The style of the ceramics being made has changed little and the same traditional motifs are still being used.
Next  visit But Thap Pagoda takes a half hour, along the way see everyday Vietnamese life, the working of the rice fields and the simple villages. But Thap is one of the finest pagodas in the northern Vietnam and known as Vietnam's first Buddhist center. The pagoda was built under the dynasty of King Tran Thanh Tong (1258-1278) and rebuilt in 1647 in the Le Dynasty by Chinese Zen Buddhist priest Zhus Zhus, known as Chuyet Chuyet in Vietnamese
Back to Hanoi at around noon or late afternoon.

Note : If you don’t wish to visit Bat Trang ceramic village, we can replace Dong Ho traditional paper village, where ‘giay do’ paper is produced and painted with traditional designs or Van Phuc Silk Village
