Early in the morning, depart for Sapa from Hanoi. It takes about 5.5 hours traveling on the new highway to Lao Cai.
On arrival in Sapa, relax and have lunch at the restaurant, then check in at the hotel.
After a short drive to Y Linh Ho village in the afternoon, we embark on a trek through the rice terraces and along the Muong Hoa stream to the Black H'mong village in Lao Chai, where we can witness the breathtaking scenery of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. Black H’mong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa area. They are proud of their culture and keep their traditions and way of life alive. They have their own language and wear traditional indigo blue clothing. The H'mong people have recently transitioned from a nomadic lifestyle to a sedentary one. Therefore, numerous remnants of the past remain visible, such as the rudimentary houses and the stone walls surrounding the homes. Next, proceed to Ta Van village for a visit with the Zay people. Zay is a small minority group of about 38.000 people who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam. Overnight in Sapa.
Today, Get ready for a leisure Sapa trip today. The drive uphill offers the most spectacular scenery of Fansipan Mountain. Next to Heaven Gate and Tram Ton Pass. At 2047 m above sea level, the Heaven Gate & Tram Ton Pass is the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. From here, enjoy walking around for half an hour to see the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Hoang Lien Son Mountain range.
After lunch, continue with a short transfer to the cable car station in O Quy Ho, which will take around 15 minutes. The flight by cable car will take you around 20 minutes to the next station at 3,000 m. Enjoy the view of Sin Chai Valley, Fansipan Peak, as well as Hoang Lien National Park from the cabin. After ascending the stone steps from the station to the summit, which takes 40 minutes, we will reach the 3,143-meter summit of Fansipan. Here, we will celebrate our victory while sitting high above the hills and taking in the stunning mountainous landscape.
