Start your day at 8:00 AM and head towards Dan Xay Bridge in Can Gio. There, a motorized canoe and your private guide await. As you cruise through the tranquil mangroves, you'll visit a natural bird reserve and spot rare birds in their nesting habitats. The next stop is a crocodile swamp, where you'll hear fascinating stories about these incredible reptiles, even catching a glimpse of newborns while learning about their incubation process. Venture further into a serene bat lagoon before ascending the Tang Bong Tower, where breathtaking views of the lush landscape from 26 meters high provide the perfect photo opportunity.
After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, the afternoon brings you to Monkey Island, home to more than 1,000 playful monkeys.
A stop at the Can Gio Museum offers insights into the rich biodiversity of the mangrove forest, followed by a visit to the Mangrove Forest Park Fauna Conservation. Here, you'll observe wild monkeys and possibly spot other wildlife like wild cats, pythons, and deer as you explore this diverse ecosystem.
Finally, take a scenic canoe ride to the Rung Sac Guerilla Base, where gripping stories of Vietnam War guerrillas and the devastation of the forest during the war will immerse you in history. The tour concludes with your return to the pier and a private vehicle transfer back to your hotel, ending a day filled with nature, history, and adventure.
